Specialist Work

This sometimes means offering specialist services or adapting our standard services to meet those special requirements.

In September 2007 H&M Security Services Ltd, won a contract to support Network Rail on their Rail Replacement Project in Rugby and Milton Keynes. The work followed on from smaller contracts at Basingstoke, and over the last year we have also carried out work supporting rail replacement programs in Lincoln, Hull and Northampton.

Over the past years H&M Security Services through the provision of specially trained Security Officers and expert security knowledge has developed a tailored service for the Railway. We have the experience and skills to develop solutions to meet your requirements.

We have the capability to provide:

• Covert security patrols and surveillance.
• Security Officers able to work on the railway, Personal Track Safety trained.
• Teams able to preserve crime scenes and maintain the integrity of the site.
• Teams able to manage protesters and protect buildings from terrorist threat.
• Security surveys & expert advice, including documented risk assessments carried out by trained staff.

Our teams are able to interact with Police and other security professionals as members of the wider Police family; through our work with Network Rail supporting their rail replacement projects, we have introduced Police Liaison Officers, responsible for building relationships and intelligence systems between British Transport Police and Home Office Forces.
